Sherman Theatre Artistic Director Joe Murphy (Housemates, Tales of the Brothers Grimm) directs an exceptional cast including Rhodri Meilir as O’Donnell and Sara Gregory as Penny. The play stars Nia Gandhi (Enola Holmes 2, Casualty, Pijin/Pigeon) and Rhys Parry Jones (House of the Dragon, A Very English Scandal, Eastenders), and is co-directed by Nerida Bradley and Matthew Holmquist. Anyway.
I’ve written something about that and it’s got just over 200 parts.
So…
Collaborator was conceived specifically to be performed in the round and is re-written a bit for each particular venue. This will likely be the fifth staging and something like the eighth rewrite and it’s actually getting quite good.

Jayne’s life is at a crossroads. Brought up in Rumney, she lived it up in Cyncoed, but after a bitter divorce she found herself living alone in Lakeside. Newly retired and at odds with her kids, a new way of living suddenly opens to her. But will she give herself permission to live her new life fully?

Having consulted with top Harley Street specialists, the St Anne’s Jombulance Brigade and Professor Twitty, that did covid, (the bald one), Count Arthur Strong has decided to gradually phase in his farewell tour over a yet to be specified number of parts, because of the likelihood of people doing ‘Cold Turkey’ in theatres over him. Whilst partial himself to the odd bit of cold turkey, it is banned in most theatre auditoriums, apart from in the north east, because of it getting trodden in to the carpets etc., and the cumulative smell. The management would appreciate your co-operation in this matter.
